every girl needs a new purse

I have been in search of the perfect purse for the past few months. Well finaly I found it, Monday morning I went out to Macy's with my BFF Gramma to do a little shopping. I walked past this amazing purse and just knew this was the one. The funny thing is, it looks like the old 70's wallpaper my gramma had up in the back bedroom at her house. (tee-he) So of course my gramma got a kick out of it, and encouraged me to buy it. Hope you like my new edition to my purse family!!

I bought this new amazing product that I have seen advertised over the last month. I got it at Target for $9.49! This thing is great, it picks up ALL the dog hair off my furniture. With having two huge dogs who are shedding like crazy right now this thing is Amazing!!! Every dog owner or cat owner needs to invest in this!!

Out with the Ladies!

Friday night was my last night out before a long summer of Cedar Point hours begin. We went out to Daily's for some Happy Hour Drinks, and followed that with a night of dancing. Boy did we have fun. Thanks Ladies!!

Cedar Point is Smart

I would like to share with you an experience I had this past Monday with starting my new job. I was told to go over to the Human Resource office Monday morning and to get there at 8:30 to do processing. Well let me tell you I waited in line for 3 hours outside, and then another 2 hours inside the building. They only had 5 employees processing about 500 people that day. It was crazy, but in my 5 hour wait I thought about the situation and came to a conclusion.



Cedar Point is pretty smart, because they cannot make money off of the people working in HR. So why hire more people then they really need. The figured the people in the line can wait because they are getting a job from this whole thing. I have to give props to them for good overhead control, bravo. But my feet wanted to kick someone in the behind, haha!

Kelly (my cousin) and I would like to share with you something you should be talking about with your children. It's no laughing matter, and should be handled very seriously.

Kelly and I feel very strong about this topic, and feel everyone should get the vacination. If we would have known what we know now, we wouldn't be infected.

So this is our first time blogging, this should be fun!!!

I (Megan) will probably be the main writer of these postings because I am not sure how much Matt will be getting on. I think this will be a good way for friends and family to catch up with what is going on in our lives.

Let me get you up to speed......

Matt has been working at Gilbert Plumbing for 3 years this April, he took online courses in plumbing, and he is working on getting his journeyman license for the city of Sandusky, and his state of Ohio license. For the most part he loves what he does!! He is coaching shot and discus for St. Marys High School and Junior High track teams. He loves coaching, and working with the kids. So many parents and other coach's are glad to see him out there, and I believe the program will go far with him there. So he has kept himself busy these past couple of months!!

I have been taking classes at Ohio Business College in Sandusky for the past year. I am working on my Associates Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. I love the Accounting degree so much I am going to get my Bachelors at Tiffin University next fall. I also have worked at Gilbert Plumbing the last 5 years, and just recently took a lay off in February. I am planning on working at Famous Dave's Restaurant over the summer as a waitress. I am really looking forward to it for the free Cedar Point pass and AWESOME money.

For the both of us we have been busy with our two dogs Logan and Hube. They are the best dogs ever, they really are my therapy on a bad day. Last year we purchased an apartment building owned by Matt's mom Pam, and I have been living there for the past two years renting out the top apartment. Once I get some more schooling done we are looking forward to buying a house!! We have enjoyed the past two years of marriage together and are looking forward to the many more to come.

One question I will answer that I get almost twice a week, that I am sure you are wondering about, "When will you have kids?"

Yes......we want kids but we both feel this is not the best time to bring a child into our lives. With our busy lifestyles, me going to school, the economy, and of course money we feel it is not the right time. God and us are the only people who can decide when it is the right time. When it happens it happens!! Believe me when I do get pregnant I will send out a press release on CNN, and FOX News.
